To find text within a grid, enter the string to be searched for in the field in the Find & Replace section of the Home Tab and either click Next or the button with the magnifying glass symbol next to the field. The first row that contains a match is then highlighted and the cell that contains the match is selected.
Click Next or the button again the find the next match. Click Previous to select previous matches for the current search.
If no matches are found, a message is displayed to inform the user of this.
The drop-down list in the field lists all the strings searched for in the current sessions.
Alternatively:

Click Find in the Find & Replace section of the Home Tab. The Find and Replace window is then displayed:

Enter the string that is to be searched for in the Find What field. If the string has already been searched for during this session, it can be selected from the drop down list accessible from this field.

Click Options >> if a more refined search is required. Additional fields are then displayed in the window:

From the Within drop down list, select which columns are to be searched. By default, all columns are searched, but a single grid column can be selected if required.

From the Search drop down list, select the direction in which the search will take place: All (i.e. up and down - default), Up, or Down.

From the Match drop down list, select the matching criteria for the search: Partial Match - Contains (default), Partial Match - Begins With, Partial Match - Ends With, or Complete Match.

Check Match Case if only text in the grid that matches the case of the text entered in the Find What field is to be found. Unchecked by default.

To proceed with the search, click Find Next.

The first row that contains a match is then highlighted and the cell that contains the match is selected.

Click Find Next again to find the next match.

If no matches are found, a message is displayed to inform the user of this.

Click Close to exit the window.
