To create a revision for a drawing or drawings:

  1. Select the drawing(s) in the Drawings List, then click Add Revision on the List Tools - Drawings tab.

  2. The Revision Entry window is then displayed:

  3. If a single drawing was selected, enter the new revision number in the Revision No field.

  4. If multiple drawings were selected, a different version of the window is displayed:

  5. Either enter a revision number in the Revision No field to be applied to all the selected drawings, or click the Auto Increment checkbox (this is not available when editing multiple revisions, only when creating). The Revision No field is then disabled. When Save is clicked, all the revision numbers of the selected drawings are incremented by one, e.g. if the current revision is "A", then the next is "B" or if current revision is "2", then the next is "3" etc..

  6. Double-click on the Date field to open a date selection form (or press the Enter key when the Date field is selected).

  7. The Description field contains a list of all previously created revision descriptions. Add a new description by entering it in the field. Any new descriptions will be available for future revisions.

    Note:
If the Single Revision Mark for all Drawing Sheets checkbox on the Revisions tab of the Options window is checked, the Add Revision and Edit Revision options will only be available for the first sheets of termination diagrams. The revision details applied to the first sheets are copied to all subsequent sheets of a termination diagram.
If the checkbox is unchecked, each termination diagram sheet is revised separately. See Revisions Tab.

    Note:
Which fields appear on this window (apart from the Revision No, Date and Description fields) and their names is specified on the Revision tab of the Options window. See Revisions Tab.
