  1. The Enhanced Wiring Rule Name window is then displayed:

  2. Enter the name of the new rule in the Doc Name field.

  3. Specify the type of primary tag (the type of item the rule is to be applied to) from the Assignment Type options: Load, Supply, or Incomer.

  4. From the Primary Supply Tag list, select the type of supply that will be the primary supply for the rule.

  5. Click OK. The following window is then displayed, with the entered rule name as its title:

    • The window enables the user to construct the layout of the rule as a diagram, and then add the attributes for the various elements of the layout to be applied when wiring is generated from the rule.

    • When the rule is first created, the mandatory tagged objects are created with it, so that. a primary supply of the specified type, and a single load, supply or incomer, depending on the selected Assignment Type.

    • Various layouts can be designed using this window. Secondary supplies can be added, as can other equipment. The same load can be fed from different supplies (the primary and a secondaries). Intermediate items, which will be classified as equipment rather than as loads or supplies, can be added between loads and supplies.
