Loading Scenarios on Reports

Multiple loading scenarios can be setup for a project, i.e. normal running, winter running, emergency shut down, etc. For each load, different absorbed power values can be specified.

Note:
Refer to the Electrical Engineer User Guide for information of loading scenarios.

By default, the loading scenario displayed on a report will be that is in effect on a project.

However, if multiple loading scenarios are required on a report, they must be added by including special sub-report in the report layout.

For example, below is a page from the Loading Scenarios Load Report (this report is supplied by default with all new projects):

In report layout, it can be seen that the loading scenario details have been added to the report by including the SubReport_LoadingScenariosLoad sub-report (also included by default with all new projects).

The layout of the sub-report is as follows:

It includes the three fields displayed on the report for each loading scenario:

When creating a new report that is to include multiple loading scenarios, or when editing an existing one, the following should be taken into account:

  • The loading scenario sub-report included with new projects will automatically add values for all loading scenarios in the project to a report

  • However, new reports of the "LoadingScenariosLoad" type only include a group headings for a single loading scenario by default.

Therefore, in the main report, a set of headings must be added for each loading scenario (copy and paste the loading scenario heading sub-table that is included, and edit the scenario number as explained next).

  • The loading scenario name and values that are displayed in a heading sub-table is controlled by its "AutoScenarioCaption" parameter. Each is numbered, and corresponds to one of the project loading scenarios. For example:

  • Extra fields can be added to a loading scenarios sub-report (or removed, changed etc.). However, the heading table(s) in main reports that use a changed sub-report will also need to be amended to reflect this.
