Accept Items for Import

This section is applicable to both the Compare and Update page and the Graphical View.
To specify that an item or attribute is to be imported, click the appropriate Accept checkbox.
-
Note that some items are displayed in grey text. Such items can neither be accepted or "unaccepted" by the user. They are accepted or unaccepted automatically, depending on which other items are accepted.
For example, the windings of a transformer. If the transformer is accepted, the windings will automatically be accepted as well. If the transformer is not accepted, the windings will automatically not be accepted either, as it would make no sense to import them without the transformer.
Compartment element types and busbars, for example, are other types of item that are subject to this restriction.
-
If an Accept checkbox is checked for an item, all the checkboxes for the attributes of that checkbox are checked automatically as well.
-
In some cases, the import of individual item attributes can then be prevented by unchecking the individual attribute checkboxes. Attributes displayed in grey text cannot be "unaccepted" as the attribute is required in AVEVA Electrical if the item in question is to be imported.
-
Check the Accept All checkbox to check all Accept checkboxes.
-
Items accepted for import in the Compare and Update page are also indicated as such in the Graphical View. The reverse is also true.
-
Once all the required items and attributes have been accepted, complete the import procedure as described in Complete the Import.
