  • Last UpdatedAug 08, 2025
  • 1 minute read

When adding cables to enhanced wiring rules in Electrical Engineer, cable numbers can be set up to include automatically sequential numbers.

  • The start and end of the sequence, and the number of digits the numbers will have, is defined on this tab. The start number must be less than the end number, and more than the current cable sequence number.

  • Enter the start and end of the sequence in the Cable Sequence Start and Cable Sequence End fields.

  • Enter the number of digits that the numbers will be in the Number of Digits field. If a sequential number has less than this number of digits, zeros will automatically be added to the beginning of them.

  • The Current Cable Sequence Number field displays the highest number in the defined sequence currently assigned to a cable.
