When Panel Board Drawings are generated, they use a specific type of Template distinct from the general Templates used to generate other types of drawings (refer to Templates List for details).
To open the Panel Board Templates list window, click Select in the Grids and Schedules section of the Home tab.
Select Panel Board Templates from the list of grids that is then displayed. The Panel Board Templates grid is then displayed:

Note:
Refer to Working with the Data Grid for information on the grid control including how to select a record.
This window contains a list of all Panel Board Template drawing files added to the project database through this window.
Note:
Ensure that there is Template file in the project Template folder with the same file
name as the filename entered in this list otherwise Electrical Designer cannot use the Template drawing to generate Panel Board drawings.
To Open a Panel Board Template in AutoCAD
Select the Template file name, click Open on the List Tools - Panel Board Templates tab. AutoCAD then starts (if not already running) and the file is opened.
Note:
Refer to Issues when Opening AutoCAD Drawings.
