Change an asset type association of an asset instance with instantiated alerts

An administrator has the following:

• Two asset types, Asset Type 1 and Asset Type 2, with at least one property defined.

• An Asset 1, Asset 2, and Asset 3 associated with the Asset Type 1.

• All assets have tags mapped to properties.

• A source alert under Asset 1 associated with Asset Type 1.

An administrator then:

1. Removes the association between Asset 1 and Asset Type 1.

2. Links Asset 1 to Asset Type 2.

3. Maps Asset 1 tags to Asset Type 2 properties.

These conditions result in:

• Instantiated alerts associated with Asset 2 and Asset 3 are removed.

• The source alert remains in the solution.
