Complete a production run on a line

When you are ready to complete the production run on the last bottleneck or production source equipment that are running in the line, you can complete the run for the entire line.

There are three ways to do this:

• Complete production for all remaining equipment that are still running. This is done using the production line's Complete button.

• Complete production run for the last bottleneck or production source equipment through the production line model shown in the canvas. This approach is covered in the following procedure.

• If only one piece of equipment is currently running and it's the last to have its run completed, select the piece of equipment in the Equipment list and select the production run Complete button at the top of the page.

To complete the line's production run from the last piece of equipment that is running in the line

1. Do one of the following:

   • Hover on or tap and hold the top right corner of the equipment card, select the More actions menu icon , and then select Complete Run.

     

     

   • Select the piece of equipment in the Equipment list, and then select the equipment's production run Complete button at the top of the page.

2. (Optional) Enter or change any OEE data properties, to take effect at the completion of the production run.

3. Select Complete.

   The production run for the piece of equipment and line is completed. If you select the production line in the Equipment list, you'll see that production run information no longer appears. Also, the start time is initiated for any OEE data properties that were changed.

To complete the line's production run for all remaining equipment that is still running

4. Select the production line Complete button at the top of the page.

   

   

   The equipment for which the production run are currently active can be selected.

5. Select all of the equipment.

6. (Optional) Enter or change any OEE data properties, to take effect at the completion of the production run.

   For more information about OEE data properties, see Manage OEE data properties.

7. Select Complete.

   If you didn't select all of the equipment, then the production run is completed only for the equipment that you did select.

   If you selected all of the equipment, the line's run status changes to Completed and the production run information no longer appears. Also, the start time is initiated for any OEE data properties that were changed.
