Delete tags from the product

From the tag dictionary, you can delete tags you no longer need.

Caution: Deleting tags is permanent. Carefully check your work before committing changes with the Save button.

To delete one or more tags from AVEVA Insight

1. Select Administration from the navigation rail.

2. Select Tag Dictionary.

3. If prompted, use your Microsoft account credentials to sign in.

   You will see a Microsoft Excel worksheet with the Configuration Assistant add-in pane on the right.

   

4. Locate the tag or tags you want to delete.

5. In the Delete? Type Yes column, type "yes". (This field is case-insensitive.)

   This tells AVEVA Insight that you want to delete that tag.

   

   Important! Be sure to carefully check your work before committing these changes.

6. In the add-in pane, select Save.

7. When prompted to confirm, type "Delete". (This field is case-insensitive.)

8. Select Yes, Delete Tags.
