Publish a line

Lines that are currently in the Draft state can be published. Publishing a line makes it available for production runs.
To publish a line

Do one of the following:

In the Production Line list, select the line (clear any other line selections) and at the top right corner of the page select
.

From the line's More actions menu at the right side of the row, select
.
The line's version type is changed to Published and the appropriate version number is assigned to it. If this is the initial publication of the line, version 1 is assigned. Otherwise, the version number is incremented by 1 from the previous version number. Version numbers are internal to the system and not visible to users.
If this is a new version of the line, it will replace the previous version and will be the version available for new production runs. Also, currently running production on the old version of the line is not affected.
