Associate items with an asset type

You can associate the following types of entities with an asset type definition:

• Content

• Alerts

• Dashboards

• Guided Analytics Models

When saving edits to an entity under an asset instance associated with an asset type definition, you can specify whether the entity should be saved to the asset type. Select Asset type and all instances to save the content to the asset type and all associated instances, or Asset only to save the content to only the target asset.

Solution must be configured for asset types to configure asset instances.
