Utilization Summary Chart

Use this visual to chart utilization reasons by count or duration for an asset.

Configure the following properties for this visual:

• In the Source tab:

  • Asset - Select the asset to display in this visual. To show data, the selected asset must track equipment performance.

    You can search for assets by name, by filter, or both.

    • To search by asset name, enter a value in the Asset field.

    • To apply filters, select the Asset field, then select to view and select filters. Select to accept your selected filters and return to the previous search panel.

    • Select an asset from the search results to add it.

• In the Visual Settings tab:

  • Use shared entity - This property is available if this visual is added to a dashboard. If this is enabled, the source is set to the shared entity used by the dashboard. For details, see Configure a dashboard to allow shared entity selection.

  • KPI Based On - Select whether the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) value is based on Duration or Count.

  • Chart Orientation - Set the bar to either horizontal (default) or vertical orientation.

  • Number of Top Reasons - The maximum number of utilization event reasons to include in the chart, sorted by the most occurrences or total duration depending on the KPI Based On setting. The maximum is 30.

  • Utilization States - Select the utilization state type to include in the chart (Idle, Runtime, Downtime, Downtime and Idle, All).

  • Show Pareto Line - Display the cumulative total of the utilization states as a Pareto line, with each state represented as a percentage on the line.
