Create a new version of a published line

If you need to make changes to a production line that has been published, you can create a new version of it. For each new version, the version number is incremented.

To create a new version of a line

• Do one of the following:

  • In the Production Lines list, select the line (clear any other line selections) and at the top right corner of the page select .

  • From the line's More actions menu at the right side of the row, select .

  The new version of the line is added to the list in the Draft state and the appropriate version number is assigned to it. The version number is incremented by 1 from the previous version number.

You can now make changes to the Draft version of the line. When you are finished making changes, publish this version of the line. It will replace the previous version and will be the version available for new production runs.
