Add equipment to the line

The equipment that is available to be added to the model is listed on the Equipment panel.

To list the equipment from a different namespace

• Select the namespace in the Namespace list.

To filter the equipment list

• Do one of the following:

  • Select another namespace.

  • In the Search field, enter filter criteria. Partial entries work. For example, 10 matches Roaster 100 and Capper 10.

To add a piece of equipment to the model

• Drag the equipment from the Equipment panel onto the canvas.

  

  You can drag it again to reposition it on the canvas. Notice that the equipment snaps to an invisible background grid.

  

To replace a piece of equipment in the line

• Drag another piece of equipment from the equipment list and drop it directly on top of the equipment you want to replace.

  The new piece of equipment is added to the model and the previous piece of equipment is returned to the equipment list.

To remove a piece of equipment from the line

• Hover on or tap and hold the top right corner of the equipment card to display the More actions menu and select Remove.

  

  The equipment is returned to the list on the Equipment panel and any connections to other equipment are removed.
