Map the same tag to several properties

An administrator has the following:

• An asset type with two or more properties defined.

• An existing Asset 1.

• An existing Asset 2.

An administrator then:

1. Associates Asset 1 to the asset type and maps the same Tag 1 to two different properties.

2. Associates Asset 2 to the asset type and maps the same Tag 2 to two different properties.

3. Creates a Guided Analytics model using the tags from both Asset 1 and Asset 2.

4. Saves the model back to Asset 1, the asset type, and all associated asset instances.

These conditions result in:

• The Guided Analytics source model is created and associated with the asset type definition.

• An instantiated model is generated for Asset 2.

  • The instantiated model for Asset 2 is associated with Tag 2.
