Include "global tags" as part of a source model definition

An administrator has the following:

  • An asset type with at least one property defined.

  • An Asset 1, Asset 2, and Asset 3 associated with the asset type.

  • All assets have tags mapped to the asset type properties.

  • All tags have recorded data in the historian.

An administrator then:

  1. Creates a Guided Analytics model using tags from Asset 1 in addition to one or more "global tags" (tags that are not mapped to the asset type in any way).

  2. Saves the model back to Asset 1, the asset type, and all associated asset instances.

These conditions result in:

  • The Guided Analytics source model is created and associated with the asset type definition.

  • Instantiated models are generated and synchronized back to each asset.

  • All instantiated models contain the "global tags" included with the source model.
