Add a production line

1. On the Production Lines list page, clear any line selections.

2. At the top right corner of the Production Lines page, select .

   The Add a Production Line dialog appears.

   

3. Enter the line's name and namespace. Optionally, select a parent location to which to link the production line (the default is the location root level).

   • The Namespace + Name combination has to be unique among all production lines.

   • These properties are required and once they are saved they cannot be changed.

4. Select OK.

   The Production Line Builder page appears. The model is in the Draft state.

   

From here you can:

• Add equipment to the line and connect them to create the model layout

• Mark the production source and bottleneck equipment

• Set the line's OEE KPI targets

• Validate the line to be sure that it can properly execute a production run
