Select equipment and production lines to display in the charts

The Equipment panel on the right side lets you choose the equipment and production lines to display in the charts on either tab.

The equipment and production lines are sorted in alphanumeric order by name. If multiple namespaces have been set up, then the list will be sorted by the combination of the namespace and the name of the equipment or production line.

By default, the first five pieces of equipment and production lines in the list are selected for display (to maximize page-loading performance).

On the OEE Analysis tab, only equipment or production lines that have OEE calculations enabled can be added to the charts.

To select equipment and production lines to display

1. On the right side of your screen, select the show equipment icon .

   This lists all of the equipment and production lines at the location.

2. Select pieces of equipment and production lines to include them in the charts.

   

   Tips: To expand the Equipment panel, select the expand panel icon at the top of the panel.
   To deselect a piece of equipment or production line that has been selected, select it again.
   To deselect all equipment and production lines, select the deselect icon at the bottom of the panel.
   To close the panel, select a point outside the panel or select the Close icon at the top right.

Note the following about the selection behavior on this page:

• You can select up to 30 pieces of equipment and production lines to view and analyze in the charts.

• As you select a piece of equipment or production line to include it, it is assigned a unique color in the Equipment panel and in the charts. The initial color assignment is retained if you deselect and then select the piece of equipment or line again.

• Selections are maintained across the two tabs. However, the selection for the OEE Analysis tab will not show equipment for which OEE calculations are disabled, even if that equipment is selected for the Utilization Analysis tab.

• When you leave this page, the last selected location and the last selected equipment and production lines for display are saved for this solution and web browser. So, the next time you open this page in the same solution and web browser, you will see the same location and selected equipment and production lines in the charts. This will occur even if the next time you open the page is in a new login session.
