Use a CSV file to import efficiency model items

The efficiency model items can be imported to the system and later modified by importing CSV files.

The format of the CSV import file is different for each item type. When you initiate a CSV import, you can first download a sample CSV file for that item type. The sample files are in the format required to successfully import the items.

Importing efficiency model items involves these steps:

1. Download a sample CSV file for the item type to serve as an initial template.

2. Create the model item CSV file. For information about the CSV file format, see Model item CSV file format.

3. Import the CSV file.
