Export data to Excel Online

Prerequisites
Before you can use the Data Assistant add-in, you must have one of the following:

A Microsoft Office 365 subscription that includes Excel

Free version of Excel Online
-
Microsoft Office Online (includes Excel)

Excel 2016 with the latest updates installed
Notes: The version of Excel that you use must be version 1601 (Build 6741.2088) or later.
This add-in uses the ExcelApi 1.2. For more information about other versions of Excel that are compatible, see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/overview/office-add-in-availability.
Then you can find this add-in in the Microsoft Office Add-ins store and install it.
About the Data Assistant for AVEVA Insight add-in
With the Data Assistant, you can download and use data from an AVEVA Insight chart to an Excel spreadsheet.
With the Data Assistant you can:

Customize which tags and time period to show in your spreadsheet.

Choose between aggregate and raw data results.
-
Refine which fields to show on the fly.
-
Always see current data values.
Accessing the Data Assistant for AVEVA Insight
You can access the Data Assistant for AVEVA Insight via supported chart types.
To download data to Excel Data Assistant for AVEVA Insight

Select the Export icon
and select Export to Data Assistant (Excel) from the drop-down menu.

If prompted, use your Microsoft account credentials to sign in.
Note: In your browser, you may need to unblock pop-ups so that the Data Assistant add-in can run.
In Excel, you'll see the Data Assistant add-in on the right.

Select Import to accept default settings for importing the data to your worksheet.

Or, refine which data to import to Excel.
