The units of measure for the production count
-
If any production source equipment are running, their production unit of measure
-
If no production sources are running, the bottleneck equipment's unit of measure.
-
If the equipment have different units of measure, units is shown here.
All calculations assume the units of measure for good and waste counts are in the same units across all bottlenecks and production sources.
-
-
Current Production Count/Planned Quantity
-
Current Production: The sum of good production counts from production sources plus waste production counts from both bottlenecks and production sources during the time period.
-
Planned Quantity: The sum of the planned quantities for all production sources that are running. Otherwise, the sum of all planned quantities for the bottlenecks that are running.
To determine the active production run for the line, the production source is checked first. If there are multiple production sources and multiple production runs, the longest (earliest start date) production run is used. If no production source has an active production run, then the bottlenecks are checked with the same logic. The active production run is used to set the time period for all calculations done on the line summary. The time period might include data from previous production runs on other equipment not used to determine the active production run.
Note: If a specific time period is selected, the current production, planned quantity, and unit of measure are not displayed.

OEE KPI summary for the currently selected time period based on bottlenecks and production sources in the line
-
Availability: Total Runtime / (Total Runtime + Total Downtime). Based on bottlenecks only.
-
Quality: Good Production Counts / (Good Production Counts + Waste Production Counts). Based on production sources (good and waste) and bottlenecks (waste).
-
Performance: (Good Production Counts + Waste Production Counts) /
(Runtime * Bottleneck Target Production Rate). Based on bottlenecks and production sources. -
The denominator is calculated for each bottleneck and the count is summed together.
-
OEE: Availability * Quality * Performance. Based on bottlenecks and production sources.
-
-
Production run time period
The start and end times for the currently selected time period.
When Active Run is selected in the time range control, the start time is determined as follows: If one or more production sources are running, the earliest start time among that equipment. If no production sources are running, the earliest start time of the running bottlenecks.
-
Target Production Rate
The sum of the Ideal Production Rate Quantity (adjusted per hour) of the production runs in the time period for all running bottlenecks. If multiple production runs occur on the bottlenecks during the time period, then a time-weighted average is used.
-
Actual Production Rate
Target Production Rate * (Performance / 100), for the entire time period.
-
Performance Percentage
-
If Performance is equal to or greater than 100%, the delta indicator is green.
-
If Performance is less than 100%, the delta indicator is red.
-
Truncation of Data for Production Runs Over a Week
If a production run duration is more than a week:
-
The count of production units under the Start and Complete buttons is not displayed.
-
The production run information will show only the last 7 days.
The truncation is indicated by the
icon next to the Production Run time period.

To see results for the entire production run, use the OEE analysis charts. For how to drill down to see production run details for a piece of equipment in the line, see View OEE analysis details for a piece of equipment or production line. For how to group detailed data by OEE data properties related to the run, such as a work order ID, see Work with the details grid.
