Set export target for results in Excel

Once you choose to export data to Excel from AVEVA Insight, you can choose where to display the results -- either on the current worksheet or elsewhere in the workbook.

To place results in a different location within your worksheet

  1. In the workbook, select the cell where you want to place the first field of results data.

  2. In the AVEVA Insight Connector add-in pane, next to Results start from, select The Edit icon.

  3. Select Import or Refresh (depending on whether you have imported the data once already or not).

To place results in a separate worksheet within your workbook

  1. In the lower-left part of the workbook, select + to create a new worksheet in your workbook.

  2. Select the tab for the new worksheet.

  3. In the new worksheet, select the cell where you want to place the first field of results data.

  4. In the AVEVA Insight Connector add-in pane, next to Results start from, select The Edit icon.

  5. Select Import or Refresh (depending on whether you have imported the data once already or not).
