Use the OEE KPI visual to chart the OEE KPI (OEE, Availability, Performance, or Quality) for assets containing less than 100 pieces of equipment.

The following properties are available for the OEE KPI visual:
-
Asset - Sets the piece of equipment or location to chart. To show data, the selected asset must be tracking equipment performance or be the next asset above in the hierarchy. If the selected asset is not OEE-enabled, then a gauge is shown as content only if the Availability KPI is selected. For the other KPI options, the gauge can’t be created.
If the selected asset is a location that includes other assets, the gauge shows the aggregate of those assets. The number of aggregated assets is shown below the percentage value. If the selected location includes no assets that are OEE-enabled, then a gauge is shown as content only if the Availability KPI is selected. For the other KPI options, the gauge can’t be created.
Note: If a location that has no OEE-enabled assets is selected and the content is added to a dashboard, the content card will be hidden during run time if OEE, Performance, or Quality was selected as the KPI.
You can search for assets by name, by filter, or both.
-
To search by asset name, enter a value in the Asset field.
-
To apply filters, select the Asset field, then select
to view and select filters. Select
to accept your selected filters and return to the previous search panel.
-
Select an asset from the search results to add it.
-
-
Use shared entity - This property is available if this visual is added to a dashboard. If this is enabled, the source is set to the shared entity used by the dashboard. For details, see Configure a dashboard to allow shared entity selection.
-
OEE KPIs - Sets the Overall Equipment Effectiveness KPI type to chart.
-
OEE KPI Target Value - Sets the target value for the selected KPI. The percentage portion of the gauge is green when the runtime value is equal to or greater than the target value. It is red when the runtime value is less than the target value.
-
MES Assets Type (optional) - Sets the MES Asset type to chart.
If the OEE KPI is set to Availability, OEE, Non-OEE, or Both can be selected for the MES Asset type. If the OEE KPI is set to OEE, Performance, or Quality, the MES Asset type is read-only and automatically set to OEE.
Note: The Availability card automatically displays the aggregate of the OEE and Non-OEE Asset types (Both) in the Asset Efficiency tab. In contrast, custom content and dashboard pages display the OEE Asset type by default.
