Synchronize asset type entities to assets

AVEVA Insight will automatically synchronize assets and associated asset instances after a successful configuration. You can view the synchronization status via the asset type list.
In specific scenarios, you may need to manually synchronize your asset type. An asset type may require a resync if the synchronization status of the asset type is any value other than OK. For statuses other than OK, you can hover your mouse over the status for more detailed information on any issues present. See the descriptions of synchronization status values below for information on possible values.
To resync an asset type from the asset type overview page, select the Asset Type Actions drop-down menu and then select Resync Asset Type. AVEVA Insight will then queue the asset type for synchronization.

The asset type has not synchronized with the asset instance. When Warning, NoMapping is displayed, there may be an issue completing the tag mapping process. Try to remap tags to properties, and then resync the asset type. |

The asset type has not synchronized with the asset instance. |
