This topic addresses some frequently asked questions about using the mobile AVEVA Insight app on your Android or iOS device.

I have forgotten my password for the AVEVA Insight mobile app. How can I get it?

The AVEVA Insight mobile app uses the same login credentials as the AVEVA Insight cloud-based application and Publisher. If you forget your password, you can reset it from the AVEVA Insight website.

To reset your password

  1. Go to https://online.wonderware.com/Authenticate/ResetPassword.

    However, if you signed up on our European site, go to https://online.wonderware.eu/Authenticate/ResetPassword instead.

  2. Select Change / Forgot Password.

  3. Type your email address. AVEVA Insight will send you an email message.

  4. In the email message, select Change My Password and follow the online prompts.

    How can I create content to view in the AVEVA Insight mobile app?

When you create and save content in the AVEVA Insight cloud-based application, you can automatically view it in the AVEVA Insight mobile app. Likewise, whenever someone shares content with the whole team, everyone on the team can see that content in the AVEVA Insight mobile app.

To create content

  1. Log into AVEVA Insight.

  2. Chart your data.

  3. Save your content as visible to yourself only, or shared with others.

    Alternately, ask team members using the same AVEVA Insight solution to save their content and share it with you.

    How do I create an account?

    Any AVEVA Insight administrator can create an account for an associated AVEVA Insight solution. With AVEVA Insight account credentials, you can log into the AVEVA Insight cloud-based application, the AVEVA Insight mobile app, and Publisher.

    To create an account

    1. Log into AVEVA Insight.

    2. Go to the Users page in the Administration portal to create an account.

      Which widgets are not supported on mobile?

      The following widgets will not be supported on AVEVA Insight mobile:

      • AnalyticsModel

      • AssociatedContent

      • ExternalContent

      • IndustrialGraphic

      • Newsfeed

      • OEEGauge

      • PredictiveAssetOptimization

      • RecentContent

      • UtilizationSummaryChart

      • UtilizationTimeLineGantt
