Map custom engineering units from data uploaded to the product

To map custom engineering units from data uploaded to the product

1. Upload your data containing custom engineering units. See Set up and manage data sources for more information on uploading data to AVEVA Insight.

2. Navigate to the Engineering Unit page.

3. Select a unit to map from the Engineering Unit tab.

   

   The Properties pane appears.

4. Select a dimension for your custom unit from the Choose a catalog dimension drop-down.

5. Select a symbol for your custom unit from the Choose a catalog symbol drop-down.

6. Select Save to apply your changes.

   Once saved, the mapping is available to use. For information on converting units in charts, see Convert engineering units for tags in your chart.
