When you select a production line to which you have access, its model, equipment state and production controls, and production data appear.

The following figure shows a sample production line and identifies the tools, line components, and line production information.

A sample production line

  1. Selected production line

  2. Change the utilization state type—Runtime, Downtime, or Idle

  3. Start/Complete a production run

  4. OEE KPI summary for the selected time period

  5. Selected time period's production run summary information for the line

  6. Canvas where the production line model appears

  7. Bottleneck equipment, indicated by bottleneck icon

  8. Production source equipment, indicated by production source icon

  9. Zoom control to toggle between the model's actual size and fitting on the visible canvas

With a production line selected in the equipment list, you can:

  • Start the production run on the line, which includes starting the run on the initial bottleneck or production source equipment.

  • Complete and start the run on pieces of equipment as production moves through the line.

  • Complete the production line run, which includes completing the run on the last pieces of bottleneck or production source equipment that are running.

View of the Production Line if You Don't Have Equipment Access

If you don't have access to equipment in the production line, the model and production run data still appears but for viewing only. However, you can select an equipment card in the model to highlight its connecting lines.
