An administrator has the following:

• An asset type with at least one property defined.

• An Asset 1 with tags mapped to the asset type properties.

• An Asset 2 with tags mapped to the asset type properties. However, these tags have no data on record.

• An Asset 3 without any tags mapped to asset type properties.

An administrator then:

1. Creates a Guided Analytics model using the tags without data from Asset 2.

2. Saves the model back to Asset 2, the asset type, and all associated asset instances.

These conditions result in:

• The Guided Analytics source model is created and associated with the asset type definition.

• An instantiated model is created for Asset 1.

• No instantiated model being created for Asset 3.

  • AVEVA Insight will not generate instantiated models for assets without tags mapped to properties.
