Register an HTTP proxy configuration with Publisher

AVEVA Insight Publisher checks for HTTP proxies in use and will prompt you for a URL if one is detected.

When you register an HTTP proxy, Publisher updates the IDAS configuration file with the proxy information.

Note: AVEVA Insight Publisher does not support HTTP proxy configurations that require username and password validation.

To register your HTTP proxy with AVEVA Insight Publisher

1. Run AVEVA Insight Publisher.

2. On the Web Proxy Configuration page, specify a URL and port. For example:

   

   By default, Publisher displays user-level the proxy settings associated with your account. Change these as needed to service-level settings so data can be sent to AVEVA Insight.

3. Select Continue and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the Publisher configuration.
