Edit an alert definition

The alerts you can view and edit depend on your user role. See Work with alerts for details.

When you edit an alert using AVEVA Insight, those changes are also reflected in the AVEVA Insight mobile app for that tag.

To edit an alert

1. On the Alerts list, select an alert, select the actions icon , and then select Edit.

   For more details on each of the steps below, see Create an alert.

2. For each tag listed:

   1. Add or delete tags for the existing alert definition.

   2. Specify the operator (for example, greater than, not equal to, etc.).

   3. Specify a value.

3. Select Next.

4. Optionally, change any actions that get triggered. Select Next.

5. Optionally, revise the linked asset or alert description. Select Save.
