You can duplicate a line as the basis for a new line. The line can be in the Draft or Published state.
To duplicate a line
-
Do one of the following:
-
In the Production Lines list, select the line (clear any other line selections) and at the top right corner of the page select
.
-
From the line's More actions menu at the right side of the row, select
.
The Duplicate a Production Line dialog appears. The name, namespace, and parent location property entries default to those of the source line.

-
-
Enter the line's name and namespace. Optionally, select a parent location to which to link the production line (the default is the location root level).
-
The Namespace + Name combination has to be unique among all production lines.
-
These properties are required and once they are saved they cannot be changed.
-
-
Select OK.
The new version of the line is added to the list in the Draft state.
Duplicating a Line That Is Being Edited by Another User
If you are trying to duplicate a line that is being edited by another user, the last saved copy of the line will be duplicated.
If the line has been updated but the list you're viewing has not been refreshed, the previous draft of the line will be duplicated and not the updated version.
