Manage the asset type library

The AVEVA Insight Asset Type Library contains models with information about an asset in a fault state. Failure modes specify how an asset will fail, and an associated list of prescriptive actions provide instructions on how to address the fault.

When the Asset Type Library is first deployed, an administrator is required to accept the models into AVEVA Insight so you can link them to an asset. Once an asset type library model is linked to an asset, the related failure modes and prescriptive actions are available for selection when you are creating an alert for the linked asset.

Access to this feature is granted through entitlements. Without the proper entitlement, you will not be able to access this feature in your solution.
