Understand asset type library model status

  • Last UpdatedFeb 06, 2025
  • 2 minute read

There are three statuses that an asset type library model can have:

  • Pending

  • Accepted

  • Revised

Pending – the asset type library model has not been accepted and cannot be linked to an asset

In the example below, there have been three revisions to the asset type library model, but none of them have been accepted, so there is no value in the Accepted Revision column, and the asset type library model is still in Pending state.

You can quickly see if there are any revisions available by hovering over the status chip.

Accepted – the asset type library model has been accepted and is available for use. If there have been revisions made to the asset type library model, the most recent revision has been accepted. The asset type library model can be linked to an asset.

In this example, there have been five revisions of this asset type library model, and the fifth revision was accepted.

Revised – a version of the asset type library model has been accepted, but revisions have been made and there are additional versions available that are more recent than the one that was accepted. The asset type library model can be linked to an asset

In this example, there have been a total of 20 revisions, however the 18th revision was the last one that was selected. Because there are more versions available, the asset type library model has a Revised status. Only the revisions after the accepted revision are visible and available for selection.

You can quickly see the number of revisions available by hovering over the status chip.
