Each piece of equipment can have one utilization reason tag assigned to it. This tag drives the utilization state for the equipment based on the tag value.
-
The tag value can be an integer or a string.
-
Integer tag values map to a utilization reason’s automation value.
-
String tag values map to either a utilization reason’s automation value or a utilization reason name.
-
-
If the tag value does not map properly to a utilization reason, the default utilization reason specified in the tag record is used.
-
When possible, tag values should be current and sent in chronological order. However, support for store-and-forward scenarios does exist.
-
Resending a tag value, time, and quality (VTQ) indicator that matches the timestamp of an existing tag VTQ but with a different value will be ignored.
-
VTQs with bad quality are ignored.
