Start a production run

To start a production run

1. Select the production run Start button at the top of the page.

   

2. Set the production run properties.

   Planned Quantity: The planned number of produced items for this production run.

   Planned Duration - Days, Hours, Minutes: The estimated duration of the production run, based on the planned quantity.

   Ideal Rate - Quantity: The ideal production run quantity for this production run. The default value is defined in the efficiency model for this piece of equipment.

   Ideal Rate - Unit of Measure: The unit of measure to use when calculating the ideal production rate. The default value is defined in the efficiency model for this piece of equipment.

   Ideal Rate - Time: The time period to use when calculating the ideal production rate: per second, per minute, or per hour. The default value is defined in the efficiency model for this piece of equipment.

3. Set the OEE data properties to use for this production run. The values default to the current values for the OEE data properties.

   If you change any OEE data property values, their start time defaults to the current time.

4. Select Start.

   The run status changes to Started, and the Good and Waste Production buttons become available for entering production counts.
