View equipment KPI in charts

The following KPI (key performance indicator) tags are included in the tag dictionary for each piece of equipment. You can create standard AVEVA Insight charts using the values associated with these tags to view equipment KPI. By default, the tag values are for the last full hour.
Note: The AVEVA Insight Total retrieval mode is not applicable for KPI tag values whose unit of measure is percent (%). If the Total retrieval mode is applied to KPI tags whose unit of measure is counts or minutes, the sum of the recorded hourly values might be different than a single calculation performed for the select time period (e.g., number of downtime counts from 8:00 am to 9:00 am = 4, number of downtime counts from 9:00 am to 10:00 am = 3 … and number of downtime counts from 8:00 am to 10:00 am = 6).

The KPI tag names have the following format:
$MES.equipment name.tag name
where equipment name is the namespace and name of the equipment. $MES is the built-in data source for the tag.
For example:
$MES.Austin.Capper 1.OEE
The previous three hours of KPI tag chart data is updated every hour.
