Asset type creation workflow

The following provides an overview of setting up, configuring, and maintaining asset types and instantiated items.

1. Create the asset type and define asset type properties.

2. Link assets to the asset type.

3. Map tags under the asset instance to asset type properties.

4. Create entities using the mapped tags and save these items back to the asset and the asset type.

Synchronization between the asset and the asset type is triggered automatically after a successful configuration. The synchronization process either creates instantiated items, or if items already exist, updates them with the latest changes.
