Manage production runs on equipment

The Production Events tab on the Equipment Efficiency page shows production run information and controls for any piece of equipment in the locations to which you have access.

The Production Events tab

From here you can:

  • Start a production run

  • For an active production run:

    • View status information about the run, including planned and actual production counts, planned and actual run duration, and disposition reason counts

    • If a shift has been assigned to the location for the current day and time, switch between viewing status information about the entire run or only the current shift

    • Complete the production run

  • For the active or previous production run:

    • Add good and waste production counts

    • Edit production counts

    • Reclassify production

Note that when creating, editing, or reclassifying production events:

  • For active runs, the current time is used

  • For previous runs, the previous run's end time is used

The Production Events tab will be available if OEE calculations have been enabled for the selected piece of equipment and there is at least one production disposition reason defined in the efficiency model. Your administrator is responsible for enabling OEE calculations and adding production disposition reasons.
