Enthalpy data in the node

You can calculate enthalpy in a process or node based on the specific enthalpy data of input and output stream.

The following procedure describes how to calculate enthalpy data in a node:

  1. Click Node-> Results ->Energy tab,

  2. Based on the Specific enthalpy of the input stream and the measured mass value of the event gives the Enthalpy of the Node

  3. The Energy tab under node is calculated based on the following calculations:

    Raw imbalance (measured) =

    {M(ton/day) of specific event} x {sum of Specific enthalpy of input stream} x 1016.04691

    Raw imbalance (Presumed) =

    {M(ton/day) of specific event} x {sum of Specific enthalpy of input stream} x 1016.04691

    Reconciled imbalance =

    [{R(ton/day) of specific event} x {sum of Specific enthalpy of input stream} X 1016.04691] - [{R(ton/day) of specific event} x {sum of Specific enthalpy of output stream} X 1016.04691]

Note: Phase of the stream with selected components at the Operating temperature and pressure should be selected manually, AVEVA Production Accounting will not identify the phase of the stream. Wrong phase state selection will effect the Specific enthalpy calculation.
You can select Phase by clicking Stream -> Information->Phase state
