Specify the engineering unit

It's important to specify an engineering unit to use as the default engineering unit. The following procedure describes how to specify the engineering unit:

From the Tools menu, select Option to open the Options dialog box.

On the Eng. Unit tab, select Mass as the Primary Balance Type.
The engineering unit that you select here is used for the measured and reconciled values when saving the database.

Click OK.
