Databases

AVEVA Production Accounting uses Oracle, MS SQL Server, or an MS Access database to hold its data. It stores all of the data for all objects in each model in the database – there are no additional files other than some preference settings in an INI file. This permits multiple users to access the models from different workstations without having to copy data files. You can open and create a number of databases, and each database may be used for several models.

AVEVA Production Accounting allows to open multiple windows for the different database regardless of the same model name by creating the temporary model graphic file(*.pdf) as model name with database name as shown below.
