Events are representations of movements within the plant. They are created from the variable data in the properties of the modeled objects. Variable data include process measurements (such as density), movements (quantities, both measured and reconciled), and status values.
Variable data is read from a process historian, entered manually, or entered automatically and ultimately gets stored in AVEVA Production Accounting database.
Events are stored as event history with timestamps.
