The table opens in a spreadsheet similar to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Guidelines
-
Both in the Table dialog box and in the Workbook Designer, recalculation of spreadsheet formulas is performed as you edit, but AVEVA Production Accounting equations are only completely recalculated when you press the Recalculate button.
-
You can uncheck the Automatic Recalc checkbox on the Calculation tab of the Workbook Designer Options dialog box, which is reached by selecting the Tools > Options… menu item. If you disable automatic recalculation, you can force spreadsheet formula recalculation by choosing Tools > Recalc, and you can force recalculation of everything, including AVEVA Production Accounting equations, by closing the Workbook Designer and pressing the Recalculate button on the Table dialog box.
-
Using the Open Worksheet button also allows you, from within the worksheet editor, to put drawing elements into your table. You can also use the File > Write… and File > Read… menus to save tables to disk files and open them again from within other table objects, which assists you in building tables that are similar to each other.
-
When a table is created, AVEVA Production Accounting saves its definitions in a .vts temporary file. This file is stored in the Table sub-directory of the AVEVA Production Accounting directory under Program Files. After this file is created, it is converted into a binary file which is stored in the database.
-
The table name should be unique. The same name can not be used for another object.
