The drawing toolbar enables you to create your flowsheet by creating and linking objects such as processes, streams, nodes, tanks, receipts/shipments, texts (labels), tables, model connectors and constraint objects.
Building the configuration involves dragging and dropping items from the drawing toolbar.
-
The drawing toolbar buttons perform actions which cannot be performed through main menu equivalents.
-
The drawing toolbar buttons enable the drawing mode in which your mouse cursor becomes an instrument for creating and positioning the item specific to that mode. In each mode, your cursor represents a specific tool.
-
You can select one tool at a time by using the left mouse button to click on a button that represents that tool. Each tool remains active until you select another tool.
-
To select a tool, click its button, which then appears pressed in.
-
Once you have selected any tool other than the Selection tool, right-click the mouse button anywhere on the model background to change back to the selection tool.
