AVEVA™ Production Accounting

Integrate with process Historian

You can configure different interface sources in AVEVA Production Accounting to connect to various external data sources such as an RTDB (PHD, PI, INFOPLUS, EXAQUNTUM, AVEVA DATA HUB), a relational database (ORACLE, MS SQL SERVER, MS Access) or a file (Excel, CSV, TXT).

The various interface sources are:

Interface to connect to AVEVA PI Server

There are three methods to connect to the AVEVA PI Server:

  • PI API method: This method uses PI API for establishing the connection with the PI Archive database. You need to specify the username/password in the interface for authentication.

  • PI AF SDK method: This method uses PI AF SDK for establishing the connection with the Asset Framework (AF) and PI Archive databases. You need to specify the username/password in the interface for authentication. Windows authentication is also supported.

  • PI Web API method: This method uses the PI Web API for establishing the connection with the PI Archive and Asset Framework (AF) databases. This method supports Windows authentication, in addition to the authentication by providing username/password.

AVEVA Data Hub

  • AVEVA Data Hub: This interface is supported for exchange of data between AVEVA Production Accounting and AVEVA Data Hub (which is in cloud).

Wonderware Historian

OPC HDA

  • OPC Historical Data Access: This interface is based on data interchange using the standard OPC Historical Data Access specification, and can be used for any historian that supports OPC Historical Data Access specification.

Web API

  • Web API (XML) server interface: This interface is supported for exchange of data between AVEVA Production Accounting and a web server or a web browser, when data is in XML.
