The trend system

AVEVA Production Accounting supports powerful trending to plot trends of data for individual or multiple objects over time. This lets you investigate trends in the data, which can show such things as measurement bias, process imbalance, process yield, measurement inconsistencies, inventory changes, component/composition data, quality data, etc.

It is possible to choose which data to plot in the trend window. Multiple plot trends can be created for one or more Stream, Process, Node, and Tank objects.

You can update the active trend and choose a different object name or property name by clicking the Update command button. New trend windows can be made by clicking the New command button.

The trend can show up to six trends at the same time. Once the maximum number of trends is shown, when a new trend is created, the first trend is removed.

Whenever a different trend is selected, the Graph View Item frame in the dialog box is updated to show the corresponding object name and property name.
