AVEVA Production Accounting – Web architecture

After you install and configure AVEVA Production Accounting – Web components, you can access the AVEVA Production Accounting – Web website through a web browser from any machine on your network. Ensure that there are no firewalls or other connectivity restrictions separating the browser machine from the machine on which you install AVEVA Production Accounting – Web.

The most common configuration is shown in the following image. The image displays how the AVEVA Production Accounting – Web website and its database can either be installed in the same machine or on a different machine. The web component has the capability to connect multiple AVEVA Production Accounting databases which are created along with the windows application.

The application sites in the image communicate with their associated application databases across a firewall. Exceptions must be added to the firewall to allow the SQL servers hosting the application databases to communicate with the application sites. See Create SQL logins to add exceptions.
