Set Out of Service of Event Stream or Tank created before its Service StartDate

If you select the Set Out of Service of Event Stream or Tank created before its Service StartDate option, the service status of each stream or tank is affected by the tank’s service start date.

If the current period is before the service date of the stream or tank, the event data created for the tank during reconciliation will have the out-of-service flag set to true in those events. This option is provided for flexibility but is normally not recommended because of the maintenance problems that arise. Using the static Out of Service option of each balance object is preferable.
