Option dialog

You can set your preferences for global settings and model settings on the Options dialog box. The options you select here affect the operations of other dialog boxes in the software and the behavior of AVEVA Production Accounting.

Local saved settings versus network settings

Your settings are saved locally in an INI file. When you connect to the AVEVA Production Accounting network database, the options from the network database are used instead of the options from INI file. However, the options in INI file that are related to results (such as global engineering units, data reconciliation options) are not updated from the global setting parameters

When you open the Options dialog box and click the OK button, the options in your INI file will be updated from global setting parameters from the network database.

The following procedure describes how to open the Option dialog:

1. Select the Tools menu.

2. On the Tools menu, in the Tools group, select Option.

   The Option dialog appears with the following tabs:

   • File/Database tab

   • Eng. Unit tab

   • Block Op. Mode tab

   • Property tab

   • Product tab

   • Component tab

   • Utility tab

   • Display Settings tab

   • DR Solver tab

   • Tracking tab

   • Interface Source tab
